2018 Book Launch (Rosa Parks Elementary)

“Gold stars for all of you for all the work that happened at last night’s event. It was such a delight to see so many children reading their poems in front of their families.  The children were smart and confident and enjoyed themselves. Thank you, thank you for everything.”
-Swapna
Every year Brian & Swapna magically make this wonderful event happen. In the past, CREME was funded by organizations; But this year CREME’s book launch event was funded by Brian & Swapna. Thank you Brian & Swapna for supporting the kids and believing in this program.  Also a BIG thank you to those who volunteered their time.
If you want to receive a copy of the book ($10), let us know by email, since we will be putting in another order. We also have postcards available for $1.00
Every student got a book for their hard work with writing a poem about themselves from Brian & Swapna. What a wonderful reward, right?  I really enjoyed hearing all the students read their poems and talk about life, family and friends. what FUN!

2017 Book Launch (Rosa Parks Elementary)

“The event at Rosa Parks was very sweet. Mr. Wilson [teacher] made the children do all the work – tidying the place, putting up the banners, righting signs on the board, and put out chairs for the honored guests, which were the third graders next door. They had a PA, so he held the microphone at the mouth of the reader, Brian Greer snapped pictures, and I gave away the books.” – Swapna Mukhopadhyay, CREME Project Director
